PAWS ™ Framework Introduction
At Golden Touch, we do more than teach obedience skills. We guide families and professionals into the PAWS ™ framework, a structured developmental pathway built on Presence, Awareness, Wisdom, and Structure.
The PAWS ™ framework is designed to support both ends of the leash. Dogs learn emotional regulation, clarity, resilience, and calm engagement. Handlers develop leadership, timing, confidence, and intentional communication. Together, this creates relationships that feel steady, connected, and sustainable.
Rather than approaching training as a collection of techniques, PAWS ™ offers a clear progression that moves families step by step through foundation, reinforcement, and long term integration.
Phase One: Foundation – PAWS ™ Puppy Boot Camp
The foundation layer establishes structure and consistency. Through a guided seven day immersion, families learn crate conditioning, calm greetings, leash habits, potty success, threshold respect, and emotional regulation practices.
This phase creates predictability and safety for puppies, adolescents, and dogs needing a reset. It ensures that every family begins with shared language, clear expectations, and a repeatable system that supports healthy development.
Phase Two: Reinforcement Mastery
Reinforcement Mastery deepens understanding of how behavior is shaped at the nervous system level. Handlers learn how reinforcement influences emotional state, stability, confidence, and long term outcomes.
This phase strengthens reliability and emotional balance. It equips families and professionals with a science grounded approach to shaping calm behavior, building trust, and preventing regression.
Phase Three: 8 Week Transformational Coaching
The transformational phase integrates emotional shaping, leadership development, boundaries, and lifestyle structure. Families refine their mindset while strengthening the partnership with their dog.
This phase supports lasting change for companion homes, service dog teams, sensitive or reactive dogs, and professionals seeking to integrate PAWS ™ principles into their work.
Entering the PAWS ™ Framework
PAWS ™ is a guided pathway of growth. Golden Touch training clients, service dog and puppy and adult placements receive structured entry into the framework, ensuring alignment, clarity, and steady progress from the very beginning.
