Golden Touch Institute

The Golden Touch Institute is the learning environment where families and professionals study and apply the PAWS ™  Method.

Rather than offering disconnected training tips, the Institute provides a structured pathway that helps people develop calm leadership and thoughtful communication with their dogs.

Through guided learning and mentorship, participants gradually build the understanding needed to create balance within their home environment.

The Purpose of the Institute

Most dog training focuses on teaching commands.

The Golden Touch Institute focuses on helping humans develop the awareness, timing, and structure that allow dogs to regulate naturally.

The Institute was created to give families a clear framework for learning these principles step by step.

What You Will Find Inside

  • the Puppy Boot Camp foundational program

  • the Reinforcement Mastery framework

  • guided learning modules explaining the PAWS ™  Method

  • mentorship opportunities for deeper guidance

  • ongoing support as dogs mature

How the Institute Learning Path Works

Step 1 – Foundation Learning

Families begin with the foundational concepts behind the PAWS ™  Method including calm structure, reinforcement awareness, nervous system regulation, and leash communication.

Step 2 – Implementation

Families begin applying the principles within their home environment. This stage often produces the first major behavioral shifts as structure becomes consistent.

Step 3 – Mentorship

Some families choose to receive additional guidance through mentorship sessions. These sessions provide personalized feedback and help refine leadership, timing, and communication.

Step 4 – Advanced Pathways

As families deepen their understanding, some explore specialized areas such as service dog development, advanced training mentorship, or raising a Golden Touch puppy.

Who Participates in the Institute

  • families raising puppies

  • households navigating behavioral challenges

  • individuals exploring service dog development

  • trainers or behavior professionals seeking mentorship

Participants join from across the United States, with occasional international participation through remote mentorship sessions.

Professional Participation

In addition to families, trainers and behavior professionals occasionally participate in the Institute to deepen their understanding of the PAWS ™  Method.

Remote mentorship allows these conversations to occur regardless of geographic location.
