Got Ear Mites?

let's talk about the not-so-nice topic of ear mites! I know this may not be the most pleasant of topics but a necessary one at that.

How can your puppy contract ear mites? Just like fleas and ticks, ear mites are a parasite. They live off of other animals and need their blood to survive. Gross, I know! These tiny creatures can be found in the soil and are highly contagious from animal to animal. When your pup shakes his/ her head, they are thrown into the air and can easily latch onto another of your four legged friends. Left untreated, dogs and cats can develop a pretty nasty infection from them so, as with most things, it's best to treat it as early as possible.

How do you treat them? Fortunately they are one of the easiest of the parasites to treat! There are a lot of treatments for it and a lot of monthly flea & tick topical treatments will treat for it as well.

A few years back, one of our imported dogs had a pretty severe case of the little buggers. So, I know first hand how desperately you want to give your pooch some much needed relief. I prefer to go the natural route whenever possible, so I started my research....

This treatment got phenomenal reviews from other clients, so I decided to give it a try. Mister Ben's Ear Tonic is the name of it. It has ingredients like organic aloe, vinegar and iodine and absolutely no harsh chemicals. I have to say that it was worth every penny! This stuff worked amazingly fast!! It stopped our dog's itching almost instantly and within a few more treatments, it was completely gone. I was absolutely amazed!!

The only catch....remember to do the treatment outside! Your pup will want to shake immediately afterwards, and you don't want it splattered on your walls, lol.
